During the pilgrimage, the delegation of the UOC, led by the head of the representative office of the UOC to European international organizations, Bishop Baryshevsky Viktor (Kotsaba), talked with the clergy and laity of the Kerkyra Metropolitanate of the Greek Church on the island of Corfu. “We celebrated the Divine Liturgy and readings of the Akathist in the church of St. Spyridon, Bishop of Trimythus the Wonderworker, and also visited the Cathedral of Panagius Spiliotissa, where they venerated the relics of St. Theodora Augusta and St. Blasius. We visited the Church of St. John the Baptist, the monastery of the Virgin of Kassopitra and the monastery of St. Paraskeva of Rome, where they worshiped her relics.

All representatives of the clergy and laity of the Metropolis of Kerkir, with whom we managed to communicate today, speak very warmly of our Primate and express their support for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church,” writes Bishop Victor.
