Authorities in Uman have introduced a “special regime” in the city due to Hasidic pilgrimage for the Jewish New Year. It will be in effect from September 9 to 22, 2023. This was announced in his Telegram-channel by the head of Cherkasy Regional Military Administration Igor Taburets.

The official emphasized that for this period in Uman will establish control on movement in the city, as well as introduce a special regime of entry and exit.

Also in the Jewish district of Uman will be prohibited the sale of alcohol, fireworks, fireworks and other explosives, and in the city itself will be introduced a ban on the sale of pneumatic weapons and toys imitating weapons.
