In Nizhyn, Chernihiv region, during the procession, the priests and believers of the UOC, among whom were women and children, were attacked by radicals shouting: “Get out of the Moscow priests,” writes sharij.net.

The procession was held on the day of memory of the native of the city, St. John, Metropolitan of Tobolsk and Chernigov. The participants of the event passed from St. Nicholas Cathedral to Zankovetskaya Square, st. Gogol and Franko Square, completing the route on the Batyuka st.

At the same time, the radicals came with red and black flags, as well as flags of Ukraine and the United States. They chanted “Get out of the Moscow priests!” And held posters in their hands. On one of them one could see the inscription “The dead heroes against the Moscow Sabbath!”

During the course, the clergy and participants of the event, including women with children, were attacked using foul language. The police separated the participants in the scuffle.
