The Primate of the PAOC, Metropolitan of Warsaw and All Poland Savva, supported the hierarch of the Church of Greece, Metropolitan Ambrose of Kalavryta, sending him a letter of support in his steadfastness and condemnation of the practice of closing churches. This is reported by Romfea.

In the letter, Metropolitan Savva mentions the closure of churches for the purpose of “quarantine” in Greece, obstruction of the Eucharist and criminal prosecution of metropolitans and clergy.

“Greece, where is your loyalty to Orthodoxy and the great traditions of the holy fathers?”, the Primate of the Polish Church wonders.

Metropolitan Savva also congratulates Metropolitan Ambrose of Kalavryta for his position on these issues and thanks him for his loyalty to the holy fathers.
