The court resumed consideration of the case on the claim of the National Museum of History of Ukraine, which demands to demolish the chapel of the Tithes Monastery of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the UOC and cancel the record on state registration of ownership of it. This is evidenced by the decision of the Economic Court. Kiev from February 8, reports RP.
The chapel has 133.2 sq. m and is located on the street. Vladimirskaya 2, near the National Museum. The court accepted the museum’s claim for consideration in July 2020.
In early December, the court granted the museum’s petition and ordered a forensic land-technical examination, the conduct of which was entrusted to the Kiev Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice, which must decide whether the chapel is located within the territory of a plot of 2.32 hectares on the street. At the time of the forensic examination, the proceedings were suspended.

In addition, the court has scheduled a preparatory meeting for March 17. At it, in particular, it is planned to resolve the issue of the entry into the execution of the forensic examination of two more engineers-geodesists.
