A member of the “European Solidarity” faction demanded that a law banning the UOC be introduced into parliament

The co-chairman of the European Solidarity faction, Artur Herasymov, has demanded that the law No 8371 aimed at banning the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church be urgently submitted to parliament for consideration. He said this during a briefing in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

“The tough demand of “European Solidarity” – on the first day (of the parliamentary session, – ed.) to vote finally the law, which the authorities for some reason fearfully do not bring to the hall. The law banning the Russian Orthodox branch of the FSB in Ukraine. Because I personally remember how the parliamentary leadership promised us to do it before Easter last year”, – Gerasimov recalled.

It is worth noting that representatives of the Ukrainian parliament and the State Service for Ethno-politics and Freedom of Conscience have a clear disagreement regarding Law No. 8371. While the head of the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience Viktor Yelensky convinces the whole civilized world that there is not a single word about the ban of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Law No. 8371, the members of the Parliament directly speak about the adoption of this law to ban the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

  • “Закон о запрете российского православного филиала ФСБ в Украине. ” – да, конечно, кто же против!
Но УПЦ к этому НИКАКОГО отношения не имеет априори.
