MP bails out monk of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra

On 13 February 2024, Ukrainian MP Artem Dmytruk has posted bail for Archdeacon Pavlo (Muzychuk), a resident of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, who was detained earlier by the SSU for allegedly “organizing provocations” on the territory of the monastery. This was reported by the MP in Telegram.

Bail in the amount of 121 thousand hryvnias was made by the Deputy for the release of Archdeacon Pavel from custody. After that, Artem Dmytruk wrote briefly in his Telegram channel: “Bail is paid”. Nevertheless, the court ordered the resident of Lavra to wear an electronic bracelet to control his movement.

We shall remind you that earlier we reported that the SSU reported about the suspicion of Archdeacon Pavel, a resident of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, who, according to law enforcers, “organized provocations” in the monastery.
