Law enforcers in Bukovyna have launched an investigation into the possible beating of the former rector of the Banchen monastery, Metropolitan Longin. About it reports Ukrinform with reference to the head of the communication Department of the police of Chernivtsi region Caroline Marisheva.

“On public statements of Mikhail Zhar were entered information in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations on the legal qualification of Article 125 (Intentional light bodily injury) of the Criminal code of Ukraine”, – said the head of the press service of the police.
