MP Oleksandr Dubynskyy has said that the draft law on banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which was “prolonged” in the first reading through the Ukrainian parliament, will never be adopted definitively. This is reported by the Telegram channel Slovo Pravoslavia.
“It will never be adopted definitively. Why? Because you will see what the reaction of the European Commission will be,” Dubinsky said.
The nardeputy added that “infringements on the rights of the religious community in Ukraine will receive as a result sharp criticism from the European Commission, because they contradict the European values that Ukraine professes.”
