Raiders cut the locks of the UOC temple in the Rivne region at night

Supporters of the OCU, with the support of representatives of the UOC-KP, cut off the locks on the doors of the sealed Nicholas Church of the UOC in the village of Gilcha, Rivne region. This happened on the night of July 28, Archpriest Vasily Nachev, head of the legal department of the Rivne diocese of the UOC, reports on his Facebook page.

The archpriest is sure that a group of raiders acted under the leadership of a local deputy from European Solidarity.

“The reason is worldly – to take the temple away from the Muscovites, they consider the believers of the UOC with whom they live in the same settlement to be Muscovites,” the priest noted, “Supporters of the OCU also consider parents to be Muscovites, whose children are fighting with weapons in their hands against Russia in the east of the country. <. ..> The reason is spiritual – demons always turn on a big holiday, and especially at night.”
