Metropolitan of Cherkasy and Kanev Feodosiy, being under house arrest, recorded an address in which he noted that, trying to destroy the Church, its persecutors are only bringing their end closer. This is reported by the Telegram channel First Kazatsky.

The bishop said that by false denunciations in the last century had already tried to destroy the Church, but “the fate of the persecutors is known to everyone. The faithful must unite in prayer and standing for their faith, and we will never be defeated.”

“Even by dispersing us into apartments, houses, cellars, attics, you will not be able to destroy us. You will only bring your end closer and closer. But it hurts to watch you do it. It hurts for the Church, of course. At the same time, I would like to firmly testify to the common opinion of many and many clergy and laity – we are not afraid of you! The overwhelming majority of the Church, which does not collude with you, is not afraid of you,” Metropolitan Feodosiy emphasized.
