The Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church has decided to suspend the participation of the SOC in the Conference of European Churches due to the admission of the OCU to this organization, reports Pravblog.

The SOC also withdrew its blessing on the work of its delegates in the activities of this Conference.

It is known that the OCU received a positive decision on membership in the CEC, which will enter into force this autumn (in accordance with the internal procedure of the organization, six months must pass from the decision to admit a new member to its implementation in practice).
