The Kyiv Regional Council supported the draft decision of the European Solidarity faction of Kyiv region to ban the activities of the UOC. Roman Tytykalo, deputy of KRC, announced this

“We believe that a religious organization that is actually controlled by the aggressor country and supports its crimes cannot operate on the territory of Ukraine,” the deputy said.

He also noted that “the Kiev Regional Council asks the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to immediately consider bills to ban the activities of the UOC.”
