Deputies of the Ternopil city council appealed to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and people’s deputies of Ukraine from the Ternopil region with a request to ban the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This was reported by the “20 Minutes” website.

“If Ukraine wants to guarantee its security and independence, enemy structures should not work in it,” the appeal says.

It is reported that the decision was made on the basis of the conclusion of the standing commission of the city council on issues of local self-government, legality, law and order, regulations and deputy activity.
