A rally was held near the Transfiguration Cathedral of the UOC in Bila Tserkva. This is reported by the Telegram channel Bila Tserkva – BEZ TABOO.
Not far from the temple, activists set up tables to conduct a “collection of signatures against the UOC-MP.”
Metropolitan Augustin of Bila Tserkva came out to the protesters. He explained to the activists that the dioceses of the UOC “today have no ties with Moscow and with the Patriarch, none.” However, there was no constructive discussion.
It is reported that a session of the Bila Tserkva City Council will be held in the near future, at which the deputies will consider a draft decision on the termination of lease agreements for land plots and religious buildings with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
