On the morning of April 7, 2023, a session of the city council was to be held in Rivne, at which it was planned to consider the issue of depriving the rights to use land plots of the Rivne diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. However, not enough deputies registered – only 21. This was reported by the Telegram channel Rivne. Voice of the Church.

For this reason, the session was postponed to 14.00.

However, for a second attempt to consider the issue of using the land plots of the parishes of the Rivne diocese of the UOC, even fewer deputies gathered for the City Council session in the afternoon – 19, with the required minimum of 23.

Therefore, Mayor Alexander Tretiak said that the next meeting will be held on April 10 at 10.00.
