Bishops of the Ukrainian and Polish Orthodox Churches served in Lublin

On November 27, 2022, Archbishop Victor of Baryshivka concelebrated in the Divine Liturgy with the Archbishop of Lublin and the Hill Cathedral in Lublin, which was built at the expense and consecrated by St. Peter Mohyla, Metropolitan of Kyiv in 1633.

After reading the Gospel, Archbishop Victor delivered a sermon on the gospel theme of Sunday.

At the end of the service, a prayer service was performed in front of the miraculous Lublin icon of the Most Holy Theotokos.

After the completion of the Liturgy, Archbishop Avel addressed a word of congratulations to the bishop from Ukraine. In response, Archbishop Viktor, on behalf of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, expressed sincere gratitude to Archbishop Avel for the constant spiritual care and material support of the Ukrainians who were at that time in the territory of the Lublin-Kholmsky diocese.

On the same day, Bishop Victor spoke with internally displaced persons from Ukraine.
