On June 28, at the session of the Lviv District Council, the deputies decided to ban the activities of the UOC and religious organizations that are part of it on the territory of the Lviv District. This was announced by the first deputy chairman of the district council Marta Ilchishin.

The deputies also decided to give the parishes of the UOC an opportunity to move to the OCU within 14 days.
