Nizhyn diocese refused to commemorate Patriarch Kirill

Metropolitan of Nizhyn and Prilutsk Kliment issued a statement on the state of affairs after the Russian attack on Ukraine.

In his speech, Bishop Clement called Russia’s actions towards Ukraine aggression and genocide of the Ukrainian people.

The metropolitan also said that the commemoration of the name of Patriarch Kirill and all possible, including spiritual, ties with Moscow have been stopped in the churches of the Nizhyn diocese.
