95 priests: the Russian Orthodox Church reported on the results of the work of the Exarchate in Kenya

Today, there are 95 priests from Kenya in the Patriarchal Exarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Leonid of Klin, Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, said in his Telegram channel.

According to him, in 2 weeks the clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church visited 12 cities and villages of the Western, Central and Eastern provinces, held 10 general meetings with priests and 7 private ones. 95 Kenyan priests took part in the talks.

“3 cathedral Liturgies, prayer services, memorial services were performed. Visited 11 temples, 2 orphanages and 5 houses of priests. 4 public sermons delivered. 2 interviews with local media, explaining the position of the ROC. Conversations were held with two leaders of non-Orthodox communities who wish to convert to Orthodoxy and a priest of one of the schismatic groups of the Old Calendarists, who is ready to go through all the required procedures to the Russian Orthodox Church. At the invitation of the Protestant pastor, they held a meeting with his parishioners with a sermon about Orthodoxy. Organized the initial church structure for the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church in Kenya (wrote in a previous post).
