Metropolitan Leonid (Gorbachev), Patriarchal Exarch of the Russian Orthodox Church in Africa, signed the first antimensions intended for African clergy. Bishop Leonid announced this on his Telegram channel.

“Signed the first 115 antimensions for Africa. This is history!” the Metropolitan said in a statement.

As previously reported, more than 150 petitions from African Orthodox priests have already been submitted to the ROC.

Metropolitan of Klin also noted that “the Russian Orthodox Church is not engaged in expansion, but it protects those who disagree with the schism.”
