The head of the Volyn diocese of the OCU “Metropolitan” Mikhail Zinkevych, during the interview with Channel 12, explained that the arrival of the head of the OCU, Epiphany Dumenko, to Lutsk was hampered by the coronavirus and quarantine restrictions.
“We have a quarantine, we do not have some kind of mass gatherings, so we are waiting for the state to allow the holding of appropriate services or events of this magnitude,” explains Zinkevych.
Also, according to him, he maintains “within the limits of human relations” contacts with the “patriarch” Filaret.
Also during this period, the anniversary was solemnly celebrated at the Volyn Theological Academy of the OCU.
Earlier it was reported that Zinkevych explained with the coronavirus the termination of the “transitions” of communities from the UOC to the OCU.
