On December 7, 2021, the head of the Department of Religious Affairs of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, Igor Saletsky, re-registered the religious community in the village of Snitkiv, which is why a new lawyer’s request was submitted to the Regional State Administration. This was told by the priest of the Murovanokurilovets deanery, Archpriest Igor Klos, writes the UOJ.
“The re-registration of the religious community took place in Snitkov yesterday. A few days ago, the charter was registered. According to the procedure, the charter is first registered, and then the community itself is registered. Actually, when Igor Saletsky registered the charter a few days ago, we realized that he would register the community itself. Therefore, a lawyer’s request was filed. This happened after the prayer stand. But Igor Saletskiy does not pay attention to the public resonance, ”says the priest.
The appeals transmitted after the prayer stand did not receive an answer:
“There is no answer. We also sent another appeal to the Regional State Administration, which indicated errors in registering the OCU community. For registration by law, original documents are required, which the representatives of the OCU do not have. And Saletsky re-registered them completely illegally. In addition, there is a court decision of the Administrative Court of Kiev, which prohibits Saletsky from performing any registration actions – and, despite this decision, registers the community. ”
According to Archpriest Igor Klos, the Department of Religions provides direct assistance to the OCU:
“The documents submitted for re-registration of religious communities are not checked by Saletsky for compliance with the law, they are submitted by dummies. Contrary to Part 4 of Art. 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations” Saletsky accepts protocols directly from any person who says that they are residents of the same village. But there are other religious communities in the villages – Catholics, Baptists, others. Documents are accepted from unauthorized persons who do not have powers of attorney from our religious communities, there is no information about them in the USR, they simply hide behind fictitious protocols of unauthorized persons who have nothing to do with our religious communities.
Saletsky accepts such protocols of unauthorized persons who authorize themselves to represent OUR interests, we inform in writing, we provide original protocols indicating opposite decisions, that these are unauthorized persons, that this is a raider seizure, that meetings on these dates are not it was that they were not members of our community, this is simply ignored by Saletsky. ”
Earlier it was reported that the believers of the UOC held a prayer stand at the Vinnitsa Regional State Administration in order to draw the attention of the authorities to the lawlessness in relation to their communities.
