All Orthodox Christians in Ukraine are responsible for our parishes, including those captured, and protecting them is a common cause. Archbishop Nikolai (Pochtovy) of Vasilkovsky said this at the UOC charity fair “Read and Create”, where funds were collected for the construction of new churches for communities affected by raiding, reports “Pershy Kozatskiy”.
“This is a good opportunity to remind that the persecutions have not stopped, that they are still happening, and that all Orthodox Christians in Ukraine are responsible for our parishes, including those captured, and protecting them is a common cause. The fair shows that we are experiencing and want to help those who were persecuted and from whom the churches were taken away, we are experiencing with them, weeping with them, we hope that the time will come, and we will rejoice all together because we have preserved the Church. and increased it, and most importantly, preserved people in the Church, ”said the hierarch.
