The hierarch of the Georgian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan of Tsilkan and Dusheti, Zosima (Shioshvili), was found unconscious in his own house on September 9, 2021. This was reported by Vestnik Kavkaza with reference to local media.
According to another version, the metropolitan felt sick at his residence in the city of Mtskheta, reports “Georgia Online”.
Doctors still find it difficult to name the reason for the deteriorating health of the hierarch, presumably it is heart problems or intoxication.
