On September 5, 2021, representatives of the structure of the restored “Kyiv Patriarchate” held a divine service for the first time in the premises recently acquired for the temple and diocesan administration. This was reported on Facebook by the head of the legal service of the UOC-KP Neonila Tkachenko.

“Usually such events take place under the watchful eye of TV cameras, smartphones and journalists. But not in relation to the persecuted Kyiv Patriarchate, and not in Odessa,” Tkachenko stated.

As previously reported, the “Kyiv Patriarchate” abandoned its claim to re-register the Odessa diocese in favor of the OCU and acquired new premises in Odessa, which was converted into a temple and diocesan administration.
