The President of Serbia today on the air of the Channel One said that the previously appearing information about plans to transfer enthronement from Cetinje was absolutely correct, writes the Russian Balkanist.
“It’s good that the government changed its mind overnight. The Serbian media were not mistaken, indeed the enthronement should not have taken place – this was the position of the leadership of the Montenegrin police and most of the government, and then this decision was changed at about one in the morning, since the patriarch and metropolitan insisted on enthronement. It is good that the decision was changed and I welcome this step by Krivokapich, which thereby showed that the state has the tools and can implement what it intended to do. ”
Earlier, the Serbian media reported about the cancellation of enthronement in Cetinje, but the Serbian Patriarch denied their reports.
