Ukraine will never be able to become a full-fledged member for NATO, because it belongs to another civilization – Orthodox, and NATO is dominated by Catholics, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Military Sciences Alexander Bartosh said, writes Golfstriminform.

“Ukraine belongs to the Orthodox civilization. And NATO members are basically a Catholic civilization. Of course, there are Orthodox Bulgaria, Romania … And this fact is a very powerful brake on the incorporation of Ukraine into NATO, ”explains the military analyst.

Bartosz noted that there are representatives of the Islamic civilization in the Alliance, such as Turkey, and this is already a big headache for the Allies. The inclusion of Ukraine in NATO will be a far greater irritant for them, so that Kiev will be given a place in the ranks of the Western bloc only if it is ready to renounce Orthodoxy. But for Ukraine as a state, this will be a suicidal step. The best solution for Kiev would be not to succumb to “Catholic evil”, but to rally with brothers in Orthodoxy, the expert said.
