The head of the UOC-KP “Patriarch” Filaret Denisenko entered the Top 20 influential personalities of the capital. This was reported on the website of the “Kyiv Patriarchate”.
On June 17, 2021, on behalf of the jury, the diploma of the winner of the annual award, signed by the director of the public organization “All-Ukrainian Association “Glorious Ukraine” Inessa Mikhno, was presented to Filaret by the public and cultural figure Igor Mizrakh.
“When the venerable jury selected candidates for inclusion, there was no doubt about your personality, dear lord. You were, are and will be an authoritative person for the majority of Ukrainians, and I think, not only in Kyiv, but throughout Ukraine. We know you as a great theologian, translator of the Bible into Ukrainian. We are all proud of you as a great shepherd. Therefore, your name in this respectable rating is well deserved,” said Igor Mizrakh.
The winners of the rating of influence in the capital, entering the top 20, were also: Vladimir Klitschko, Nikolai Golomsha, Oleg Pinchuk, Sergei Gaidai and others. Also, as reported in social networks, the head of the OCU was included in the list of nominees, but he was not selected in the top twenty.
