Former Hieromonk of Lavra became “Archimandrite” in the OCU

On May 1, 2021, ex-Metropolitan of the UOC, current hierarch of the OCU, Alexander Drabinko, announced that the former hieromonk of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Innokenty of Youth, became an “archimandrite” in the OCU.

Drabinko wrote about this on Facebook.

“During the divine service, with the blessing of the Primate of our Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine, Epiphanius, they presented liturgical awards to the clergy of the Pereyaslavl-Vishnevsk diocese – the brethren of the monastery in honor of Nektarios of Eginsky: Hieromonk Innocent (Pidtoponyu) was elevated to the rank of archimandrite, Hieromonk Innocent (Pidtoponyu) a pectoral cross with decorations was presented,” Drabinko said.
