The delegation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church brought the Holy Fire from Israel. The plane had just landed in Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany), a little more than an hour late.
The lamp with the Holy Fire to the delegation of the UOC as a blessing between the canonical Orthodox churches was handed over by the Jerusalem Patriarch Theophilos III.
Now the Holy Fire will be delivered to the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The meeting of the Holy Fire in front of the Assumption Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra will take place at about 23.00.
From the capital, the Holy Fire will be delivered to all dioceses of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
