On April 22, 2021, the “bishop” of the UOC-KP Nikon Grablyuk visited the parish of St. Cyprian, Metropolitan of Kyiv, in the city of Artsyz. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Odessa-Baltic diocese of the “Kyiv Patriarchate”.

With the administrator of the diocese of Filaret, the secretary Petro Didych visited the parish. It was about the continuation of the construction of this temple. In addition, representatives of the UOC-KP in Odessa visited the district administration of the city of Artsyz, where they discussed with officials the further development of this religious structure in the district.

A few days earlier, the diocesan administration of the UOC-KP in Odessa officially announced that another organized community in the region had gone to Filaret.

Earlier it was reported that representatives of the OCU in the city of Artsyz, Odessa region were denied the allocation of land on which the unfinished chapel stands. In the autumn of 2020, the OCU tried to resume construction work here, but law enforcement officers forced it to stop construction.
