In Bukovina, the UOC community proposed a way to resolve the conflict with the OCU

In the Chernivtsi region, in the village of Mikhalcha, parishioners of the Holy Dormition Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church called on the OCU activists to build a new church, the land for which the local authorities are ready to allocate. The believers voiced such a proposal at a meeting with the chairman of the Kamenskaya local community, who expressed his readiness to allocate land for construction, “Vzglyad” reports.

The meeting with the head of the local community was attended by representatives of the OCU and law enforcement agencies.

The cashier of the Holy Dormition Church of the UOC spoke about how, over the past two years, representatives of the OCU rammed the doors of the temple, organized armed group attacks and committed other criminal acts.

The head of the local community proposed to allocate land for the construction of a new temple to either side. In this regard, the UOC community, which legally is a user of the Holy Dormition Church, called on the OCU activists to agree to the authorities’ proposal.
