On August 18, 2023, the police force the pilgrims to dismantle and collapse their tents, in which they traditionally live on the territory of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral of the UOC in Kamyanets-Podilskyi along the road of the procession to Pochaiv. This is reported by the UOJ correspondent.

The security forces also announced an order for the pilgrims to leave the territory of the temple. Now no one is allowed outside the fence.

For this procession, which has been going on for 200 years from August 19 to 25, pilgrims began to gather on August 17. For several years now, there has been a tradition that they prepare to go out, camping in tents around the cathedral.
