On the morning of July 10, 2023, the Commission of the Ministry of Culture tried to seal two buildings of the monastery of the UOC – #57 and #58. This was reported by the Telegram channel PRAMIHA.

Fortunately, the police only observed, not helping the members of the Commission. Therefore, the Orthodox were able to defend these enclosures.

Lavra lawyer Vladimir Lubyanetsky noted that no one knows when the next attempt to seize the Lavra buildings will take place and whether forceful methods will be used.
