The head of the Ternopil Regional Council, a deputy from the Svoboda party Mikhail Golovko proposed to conduct searches on the territory of the Pochaev Lavra. This is reported by the publication 0352,ua.

“Today, when the ice finally broke and searches were carried out on the territory of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, <…> during the checks they found people without documents, Russian citizens, pro-Russian literature, large sums of money and much more evidence of anti-Ukrainian activities. It is surprising, of course, that such searches did not take place in the main Orthodox shrine of the Ternopil region – the Pochaev Lavra! The Verkhovna Rada again submitted a bill to ban the activities of the Moscow church. Therefore, I really want the authorities to finally listen to the public and understand that the ban on the enemy church is just relevant. Werewolves and collaborators in sacred cassocks have no place in Ukrainian shrines,” Mykhail Golovko said.

The head of the regional council also demanded the adoption of the “Svobodovsky” bill No. 7204 “On the prohibition of the Moscow Patriarchate on the territory of Ukraine”, authored by MP Oksana Savchuk.

“The enemy, anti-Ukrainian, physical structure, which hides behind Ukrainian Orthodox believers and conducts many years of activity to destroy the Ukrainian State, must be banned at the legislative level,” summed up the chairman of the regional council.
