Representatives of the OCU seized the Holy Trinity Dukonsky Monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, forcibly closed by the authorities in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is reported by risu.
On June 12, 2022, the clergy of the OCU entered the premises of the UOC monastery for the first time.
The Dukonya Monastery is located in the Carpathians at an altitude of 1534 meters. As previously reported, on March 8, 2022, a group of armed men forcibly removed Archimandrite Tit and novice Trofim from the monastery. According to local residents, they were taken to Verkhovyna, where they were interrogated.
Since the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine, all the churches and monasteries of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church have been seized, forcibly closed and sealed in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
