The World Orthodox Church is facing a great crisis. Today we can say openly that we are on the border of a great schism because of the situation in Ukraine, those illegal anti-canonical actions that Patriarch Bartholomew committed. The Chancellor of the UOC, Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary, said this on the air of the First Cossack.
“The Orthodox Church is looking for a way out so as not to cross this limit and this great schism did not occur. We are looking for answers in the history of the Church,” – said the Chancellor of the UOC.
On November 11, within the walls of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, an international conference “Unity of the Church: theological, canonical and historical dimensions” was held.
