In Kiev for the celebrations in honor of the Day of the Baptism of Rus, which this year will be held in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church on July 27 and 28, miraculous icons of the Most Holy Theotokos and shrines from different parts of Ukraine will arrive. The manager of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich), noted that the miraculous icons and shrines will lead the Great Procession, Versii writes.

“The arrival of the Pochaev Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos for the celebration in Kiev is preliminarily planned – this is the shrine of Pochaev, the Svyatogorsk Icon of the Mother of God is the shrine of the East, the icons of the Mother of God of Zimnenskaya and the Kasperovskaya icon of the Mother of God is the shrine of the South. There will also be an ark with the relics of St. Prince Vladimir and other shrines. Miraculous icons will lead the procession. When we arrive at the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, the All-night Vigil will begin, and the icons and relics will be brought to the Refectory Church, where they will remain until the evening of July 28. Believers will have an opportunity both night and day to come and pray. Akathists and prayers will be constantly performed at the shrines, ”said Metropolitan Anthony.
