Thousands of believers gathered near the Verkhovna Rada to convey to the People’s Deputies an appeal to stop the persecution of the UOC, writes Strana.

Believers urge deputies to abolish a number of bills that discriminate against the UOC.

Believers conduct a prayer protest and a religious procession to the Office of the President. The procession will take place from Verkhovna Rada. Believers will also convey an appeal to stop the persecution of the church to President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The action takes place with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Onuphry.
