UOC called on the Venice Commission to review the law on renaming the UOC

On April 26-27, 2021, the Head of the Representation of the UOC to European International Organizations, Bishop Baryshevsky Viktor, took part in the OSCE meeting “Democratic Law-Making: Ensuring Participation – Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting (SHDM) II 2021”, which was held online. This was reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

Bishop Viktor Baryshevsky called on the international human rights community to consider the possibility of finding and using legal procedures for examining the law “on renaming” and protecting the rights of believers of the UOC in international judicial institutions.
