Exarch of the UGCC in Italy Dionisy (Lyakhovich) is in a hospital in intensive care on a ventilator. This was announced by the head of the Pastoral and Migration Department of the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC Stepan Sus, writes RISU.

As noted, the chancellor of the Exarchate is in the same condition. Obviously, we are talking about complications due to coronavirus.

“The state of health of our Exarch lord Dionysius is grave. That night Fr. Peter (chancellor of our Exarchate) was also hospitalized. Both are now under artificial respiration devices. We ask you sincerely for intensified prayer for lord Dionysius, fr. Peter and all the sick,” the message says.
