The clergy and believers of the UOC hope to celebrate Easter 2021 in churches and to hear the most important words: Christ is risen! The manager of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, metropolitan of Boryspil and Brovary Anthony (Pakanych), said this on Thursday during a press conference at the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the UOJ reports.
At the moment, according to the hierarch, the situation in the churches and monasteries of the UOC is stable, and “love for God is love for our neighbor, we observe the norms.”
“Last year there were no closed churches for Easter, we served in the streets. This year we are looking at different options, including a street service near temples. We approach individually in each case,” stressed the manager of the UOC.
