The monk of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, who not so long ago left for the OCU in pursuit of career growth, unwittingly revealed a problem that was unpleasant for his organization. In an interview with “Glavkom”, he noted that in the structure of Epiphany there is not a single “monastery that could accept 50 or more monks of the UOC”, if they suddenly decided to go to the schismatics.
What does this mean?
Yes, that during the entire existence of both the “UOC-KP” and “UAOC” failed to achieve any serious success in creating one of the main pillars of the Church – monasticism. That is why there are no large monasteries in the “OCU” and that is why the number of their “monastics” is so carefully hidden there. Indeed, against the background of thousands of monks in the UOC, the situation in Dumenko’s organization looks not only deplorable, but also shameful.
