As reported, the former assistant to the head of the department of information and public relations of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, church publicist and theologian Fr. Innocent was admitted to the state of the Pereyaslavsko-Vishnevsk diocese of the OCU on March 13, 2021.

As Fr. Innocent, he does not consider his step a transition, because autocephaly was granted “to the existing ancient metropolis of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, which by 2018 was under the administration of the Russian Orthodox Church.” Why this step was taken only two years after the formation of the Phanar project in Ukraine, there was no explanation.
