Archbishop John (Vranishkovsky) of Ohrid arrived in Moscow with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia.
This visit and the warm welcome extended to the Primate of the Canonical Church in North Macedonia is a vivid manifestation of the support of the Russian Orthodox Church.
We remember, at the Amman meeting “on the issue of North Macedonia, the delegations stated that this issue should be resolved through dialogue within the Serbian Orthodox Church and with pan-Orthodox support.”
Let’s hope that this support will increase even more, which is important in the context of the increasingly persistent attempts to resolve the North Macedonian church issue in the non-canonical way.
