On March 21, 2021, the parishioners of the cathedral church of the Vicariate of the Kyiv Patriarchate in the USA and Canada (Philadelphia) made a decision “to respond to raider actions and persecution by the OCU”. This was reported on the official website of the UOC-KP.

In order to formulate a statement common to the entire diaspora of the Kyiv Patriarchate in North America, the meeting participants decided to hold an All-American Forum in support of the UOC-KP and its leader Filaret Denisenko in July 2021.

“After the illegal actions of the state authorities of Ukraine in the case of the so-called “liquidation” of the Kyiv Patriarchate, raider actions and persecution by the OCU for Patriarch Filaret, the clergy and believers of the Kyiv Patriarchate around the world… decided to hold an All-American Forum for the Kyiv Patriarchate in July this year,” the message says.

Dr. Alexander Kachur was unanimously elected the Chairman of the Forum.
