Meanwhile, the first full-fledged gay scandal erupted in the OCU. I confess, with the participation of all persons I personally know – metropolitans Olexandr, Photios, Mykhail. You can read in detail at the link in the first commentary, but its essence is briefly in the fact that from the opened iPhone of metropolitan Olexandr (Drabinko) his correspondence have leaked – with church youths, who love to send their nude photos to bishops at night, and in the daytime in surplice to serve in altars.
The leakage, according to the authors of the exposing texts, was caused by Olexandr’s excessive activity in communicating with the Istanbul leadership of the OCU, and in general by the violent activities of the opposition to the nominal head of the OCU Epiphany (i.e. Olexandr and Mykhail).
Photios of Zaporizhzhya fell under the hand just by the word. There is little about him in the text, but in the mentioned video by Shariy there are amusing details about his behavior – just in altars. Separately, it is worth dwelling on the fact that Shariy made some kind of indigestibility out of curious (and sometimes sensational) material, causing reflex rejection.
Especially I would like to the dreams (and assertions) of Ukrainian Orthodox intellectuals in 2018 that the OCU will be a “different” church, in which, among other things, there will be no place for “gay scandals”, “gay episcopate” and internal discord. Uh-huh.
