The clergyman of the Russian Orthodox Church from Cyprus was brought to the “Myrotvorets” website

The website “Myrotvorets” illegally publised the personal data of a clergyman of the Russian Orthodox Church in Cyprus, the rector of the Limassol Russian-speaking community of St. Nicholas Pavel Povalyaev and a parishioner of the same community, Alexander Boryslavsky. The nationalist website accused them of being “propagandists of the Russian world”.  This was reported by sprotyv.info.

Archpriest Pavel Povalyaev was called “a distributor of Kremlin propaganda in the form of the so-called. “Russian world””, and “an opponent of the independence of Ukrainian Orthodoxy from the ROC.”

It is reported that the Limassol Russian-speaking community of St. Nicholas “is closely connected with the intelligence of the Russian Federation, in particular with the current director of the RF Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin.”

Archpriest Pavel Povalyaev was born in Kharkov. Priest in the third generation. He was sent by the ROC to carry out pastoral ministry in the Orthodox parishes of Norway, then in Cyprus.
