On February 6, 2021, supporters of the OCU, in the presence of law enforcement officials, cut the locks on the doors of the church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the village of Galinovka, Vladimir-Volynsky district, Volyn region, the information department of the UOC informs.

Two days before, under the onslaught of the “OCU” activists, the Volyn Regional State Administration actually “gave the green light” to the raider seizure of the UOC church.

On February 3-4, representatives of the “OCU” picketed within the walls of the Volyn regional state administration with a claim to the actions of local authorities for non-registration of documents for their seizure of the church of St. Sergius of Radonezh, which still belongs to the religious community of the UOC in the village of Galinovka. With pressure and threats, they managed to achieve what they wanted. The registration of the charter by the responsible officials of the Regional State Administration took place, and this gave them the opportunity to apply for the temple of the UOC.
